Trial, licence and updates
The trial
Fourteen days, starting when you first open the app rather than when you download it. No email wall, no card, no account. The trial is the whole product, not a cut down tour.
What a licence costs
$99 once during the early bird, then $149. One licence covers up to three people on up to three Macs, which is to say three activations. A six person studio buys two licences, once, and that is the end of it.
There is no subscription, no per seat maths and nothing to cancel. The price cannot move on a copy you already own, because there is nothing to reprice. A 30 day refund applies if it does not fit.
Activating
- Buy, and you get a licence key by email.
- Settings → paste the key → Activate. This is a one time online check.
- After that the app runs offline and does not re-verify on every launch.
The sidebar shows your trial days, or your name once licensed, so you never have to guess which state you are in.
Updates
Updates are free through v1.x and arrive from inside the app. Settings → Updates tells you what you are on and offers anything newer. The download is checked against a signed manifest before it installs.
